Is there are way to find out what has been changed since the Default Domain Policy and Default Domain Controllers Policy was first created? I have tried to compare manually the default policies from our production domain to a newly created lab domain in a virtual environment and since there are tons of settings, I find comparing manually to be very time consuming. I was hoping if there was a tool that I could use that would compare the default policies from our production domain to the lab domain and show us the differences.
My goal is to bring Default domain and domain controller policies the way they were when the domain was first created and create new GPOs without altering the default policies. I am reluctant to restore Default Policies using the built in tools as this may result in adverse changes.
