Changing a home page

By laura ·
How do I change the home page for another user in Windows 2000? We are running a Novell environment with a mixture of Win9X and W2k PCs. The problem is that on the Novell server we are running Zenworks. The policy is to not allow the staff members to change the home page. Unfortunately the students can do this, and the teachers can't change things back. Is there a way to change the home pages on the W2K PCs when I'm signed on as admin for the teachers without changing the policies that areblocking this?

In the Registry this value is controlled within
HKEY_USERS\{Large Number Representing the User}\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
The key is start page

If you open the registry with regedit and search for start page you will find the key to change.

Remember each user has a separate number so you will need to change the correct one. I do not know how to tell what user corresponds to what number.
