I have been asked to change the drives on our Compaq 1600 Proliant server since we are currently running 5 18GB drives. I have never worked with servers before this job and have no experience changing the drives. I need a list of what to do, look for etc. This will be done over the company shut down between Christmas and New Year’s. Please, I need some advice here so that I won’t lose the OS. I will make complete backups of this server before the change. Any help???
