i have this compaq laptop that runs windows 2000 on it but unfortunately has been affected by a virus. i can’t locate the windows 2000 recovery cd for the computer neither cn i locate the windows 2000 reinstallation cd, now my question is how can i wipe out the hard drive successfully and then install windows xp on it without losing some of the drivers on the hard drive? thanks
