Changing IE Proxy Setting Remotely

by men . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

I help run a network of 150 clients. I know how to go into the registry, and remotely delete their proxy settings for IE, but I don’t want to have to do this for 150 computers. I downloaded a policy adm for IE that allows you to globally change the proxy setting from the PDC, but I haven’t been able to get it to work. All clients currently have cccproxy port 80 set in their browser. Does anyone know how I might disable the proxy setting, or change it to a blank host and port? BTW 98% of the clients are NT.
