Changing Ip Schemes on Exchange 2000

By HottLeggs ·
We are adding a Firewall to our current Win2k Network. I have a sever running Exchange 2000, DNS and Active Directory. How to I properly change the IP address on this server?

Not sure why you need to change the IP address of the server because of a firewall. Nevertheless, you can change the IP address simply by opening up the Network Properties, going to the TCP/IP properties and setting the IP address as it should be.If this is not what you mean, please respond with additional info on exactly what you're trying to do.

New company policy required us to change all the ip addresses on the network. I have solved the issue at this time. We did internal routing on the Exchange servers which also has the DNS installed. This made our connection to the firewall and theexternal world a breeze.
