Running multiple domains in W2K and NT 4.0 Server environment. Running Exchange 5.5 on W2K and using Outlook 2000 as client. On W2K domain, there are no problems changing the domain user/exchange mailbox password. On a different domain, the clientlogs on to that domain and uses Outlook to access the exchange server on W2K domain. Outlook askes for username, domain, and password. There are no problems connecting to the users mailboxes. But, there is an option to change password. This doesnot work on the clients that are not apart of the W2K domain. Error message “Your Windows NT password could not be changed. Please check the information and try again”. Info is correct. Is this a problem with mixed W2K and NT 4.0 Server environments? Would the passwork change work with different NT 4.0 domains?
