CHANGING PRINT SIZE IN PUBLISHER

By PeeJay ·
To whom it may concern:
A co-employee of mine made a poster in publisher to fit 11" x 17". He now decided that he would like it to be 8.5" x 11". I changed every possible setting on the setup, but it isn't printing right. It's printing on 8.5" x 11", but it's actually only printing that much of the 11" x 17". I have tried everything. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Your printer either need a scale to fit page option or you will need to change the Poster itself. I do know that if you print it to a .pdf the Acrobat will give you that scale to fit page option.

Sometimes in Microsoft programs after you save them as one size then want to print another size you need to look at "page setup" and "print setup" in the view menu and make sure the settings are what you want and they match. Also you need to check your printer setup from the Start/Settings/Printers. I've had a similar problem frequently when printing to a plotter instead of my desktop printer.
