Anybody know whether this can be done safely?
I don’t need to make any other changes, and no one is mapping to this server or anything like that; all I want to do is rename it.
Do I need to first create a new computer account, or should I demote the PDC, rename it, and then promote it?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
