For a over a week now, Vancouver Police and local investigators have been searching for the missing Andrew Koenig, Walter Koenig’s son (Walter Koenig played Chekov on Star Trek).
Andrew had left his California home to came to Vancouver to see his best friends and then simply disappeared.
In case you are not familiar with Andrew, he co-starred in Growing Pains as Mike Sever’s best friend ‘Boner’.
Most unfortunately, police found his body in Stanley Park today, a certain suicide due to his long history of depression.
I am sure there are many Star Trek fans here, as well as many Growing Pains fans. I am also sure news of his disappearance has hit the news where you live too.
My sympathies go out to his family and friends. Hopefully he has finally found the peace he sought for so long now.
