Isn it strange how china would release information like this?
If it was any other factory involving bad press for anything coming out of china, even with thousands of deaths, china would definately cover it up, censor it. Think about it, how often does the chinese INVITE foreign media into their country? They wouldnt even let this TV show called ‘Tropic of Cancer’ pass through China to make a lovely documentary, Nevermind release a full list of people who committed suicide in a factory.
Foxconn is actually a Taiwanese company they moved this main production over to china because its cheaper for labour over there. They were grossing alot of money during those years and is starting to worth a great deal on the international market.
But the owners bought a large plot of land near Taipei (captial of Taiwan) recently and was planning on building a factory and maybe moving the whole productions back to Taiwan. The idea being that China realised they cannot use violence to influence Taiwan so they used the economy. They release information like this and now the stock value of Foxconn plummeted, China wants the end result to be the demise of Foxconn for planning on moving some business to another country.
