I am working in a company analyzing the process that is implemented for managing acess to information systems on it. There is a miscelanous implemented including on it: operational systems (MS Windows NT/2000/XP and UNIX), databases, e-mail accounts (MS Exchange) and other software developed internally based on VB.
Based on the initial information I perceived that the access administration area cannot improve its results due to the different manners to create, delete and change access to the systems described above.
A good solution that I am thinking for is implementing a security administration and workflow software to make this task easier and I have some names that I started to study about such as: CA eTrust and BMC Control-SA, but I would like to know others solutions in order to identify the best one to my case.
