Trying to setup a Cisco 2940 switch for telnet access. I have an IP address assigned to VLAN 1 with a subnet mask and have set the line configuration for the max allowable telnet sessions. When I do the telnet command TELNET 192.168.1.253 no worky, cannot ping the device either.
Any suggestions would be great.
