Good afternoon.
I run a small LAN (NT4), with the Win98 clients having static IP addresses and Netgear switches to connect workstations + Cisco 760 ISDN router that connects me to my ISP (BTConnectLAN UK).When the Router arrived from ISP it shippedwith the American software instead of UK so BT had to “Flash” it for me which was OK but now I have no idea of settings etc.I believe the Router also has a firewall so my question is, is it possible to dial in to my LAN from home, and if so how do I go about it. I realise I could get PC anywhere and dial into an analogue modem, but we dont have any analogue lines left….hmmm. Basically BT have told me it is not possible with this Cisco router which means I now have to find a way to do it.
IsVPN an option or is there any software I need to get hold of to achieve my goal..Hope this is not too vague…
Cheers & thanx for your time.
