Hi Everyone,
I’ve got a IPSec VPN setup between a remote branch 871 router and the ISA 2006 at the central office. I need to setup some method for getting a multicast heartbeat (used by a core application so very important) across the VPN. I’ve looked into GRE tunnels but have no real idea about how to get this up and running.There are no routers at the main site that are LAN side of the ISA which is used to create VPNs to all the branch offices, this 871 is the first part of a plannedmigration to Cisco so I really need to get this sorted.
Has anyone got experience of this sort of setup and how did you get manage?
