Cisco CNR as a DNS Server

by dougdrewry . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

My network uses Cisco CNR on UNIX as the DNS server. During lab installs of Windows 2000 domain controllers, SRV resource records are not appearing as expected, i.e. not at all. It’s a known issue that dynamic resource records will not show up in the CNR GUI, but using NSLOOKUP and “set type=SRV” gets a response that the server has no SRV resource records. Any input on this would be welcome.
Thanks!
