I’ve been having a problem with a cisco 2621 router link to a T1 through a wan card and an ipchain firewall through on of the ethernet ports.
Everything works fine for 30 min to 150 min then the connection betweeen my firewall and the router is lost.
The controller begins showing line code violations and path code violations and if I don’t catch it quickly enough it resets (10 SES).
To fix the problem I simply reset the fastethernet interface and all is well for another short period.
I have access control lists on all the interfaces and on the lines.
Has anyone seen this behavior before? Can I do something so I don’t have to continually reset the interface?
