Cisco VPN

By Stuart.Hensley ·
Is there a way to logon to the computer and then start the Cisco VPN. The reson for doing it this way is I have a Verizon Aircard that can only be started after the computer is logged on. The Air card is aswome for connecting to the internet and would be even better if able to connect to my Cisco pix VPN.

You can login to a local account.

login to the machine name instead of the domain will log onto the pc, then you can use the air card and then vpn client into the network. I'm testing that now but the vpn is not staying alive if inactive.

You can launch VPN and aircard before you log onto pc

Set VPN options to Enable before logon. In the vpn entry for your aircard you can set dialup options to select your aircard. When you do that the VPN should launch before you logon and when you select your vpn entry for your aircard it will launch the dial up for your aircard and then ask for your vpn credentials.
