Cisco VPN client connection using Aircard

By kalford ·
I recently purchased an Sierra Wireless Aircard 875U through AT&T. I can connect to internet fine, but I'm unable to make a connection to our corportat network through the Cisco VPN client set up on my laptop. "Remote peer termination connection" error message is received.
Any help would be great - I've gone through AT&T help, Sierra help and company IT dept help.

We have used all of the "Big Four's" air cards. The one thing they all have in common is very high latency. Unless the device has A LOT of signal, the latency can easily hit 700 ms. This has been a problem for us when we use VPN as well as Citrix. Once you have connected to the VPN, try running a persistant ping to the machine that you are attempting to use Terminal Services on. That should give you an idea if latency is a problem.
