Cisco2811 T1 Configuration

by freeventure . Updated 18 years, 3 months ago

We’re migrating from a Netopia to a Cisco for future bonded t1’s. (I’ll deal with the bonding later)

Currently setup as:

Serial0/0/0
description Internet
ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.252
no ip unreachables
encapsulation ppp
ppp mtu adaptive

(SDM)
clock source: Line
T1Framing: esf
Line Code: b8zs
data coding: Normal
this data doesn’t show up in the running-config.

However, am I missing something? The following information is in the netopia…

ppp type: vc Multiplexed
pptp Tunnel send and recieve hostnames and passwords. with no encryption. I don’t know how to configure this on the Cisco so I can get the T1 working. The ISP is of no help… sadly.

I cannot find any information on this. It’s currently a single t1 so I know it’s not bonded or mlppp etc…
