I come from a small city of 180,000+ people about 60 miles west of Toronto, Ontario. My question is how many of you have obtained IT Security jobs in smaller regions. I suppose I would drive to Toronto everyday if I absolutely had to, but I want to know if the CISSP cert could help me around here. I do live in what they call the “Technology Triangle”, (where RIM’s Headquarters is) and the region is growing rapidly. But I don’t want to waste my time if there is no demand in a non-metropolitan area.
I appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
