CITRIX CLIENT PRINTER PROBLEM

Hi

I am a newby in CITRIX PRESENTATION 4.5 SERVER i just want to ask regarding this problem. I've already setup my CITRIX Server and Client Citrix and the publish application works fine but when I print on a Client PC with Citrix Client 9.0 nothing happend the Printer is localy attached to its LPT1. But when I try to open a remote desktop connecting to my Citrix Server that is the time the printer works but when I print again still nothing happend. hope anyone can help me regarding this one. thnks

Check the drivers

Verify that the print drivers are instaled on the Citrix server. IF the are and you still have problems check the event viewer and see if the printer mapping is having problems. You may need to do a printer mapping inside of Citrix to get it to use the correct or an alternate driver.

Thanks for your reply. actually I've done mapping already. when I test Citrix client to a PC located on our Local Network Printing is ok the problem is when I use the Citrix CLients connecting to our Citrix Server using VPN its printing is not ok and nothing happend. Is there any security issue in Citrix?

Time to look at the client settings.

At this point I would look at the settings on the client machine. Is there anything blocking the access. I doubt the firewall would cause it but the client software may need to be reconfigured.

thank you for your help it is now working yes I try to resetup all in client side including reinstallation of printer that is mapped in the server and now it is working thanks again.
