Citrix ps 4.5 and mssql database

Question,

I have a new citrix enviornment with Presentation server 4.5 installed, the database/sessions is mssql 2000. I have a single farm with 16 servers seperated by a WAN link. I have two sql servers, 1 in one site and the other in the other site. How can I make sure it is not a single point of failure for my database. Right now everything is connected to the database in one site.
