CITRIX TERMINAL SERVER

By tommymcbrayer ·
Last week we went from a bridged to a routed IP network, Cisco routers and switches and PIX firewall. Now most of all the people can not access the citrix servers or the published apps. I say most a small few can with setting the IP address in theserver location. Workstations can ping the citrix servers but can not create a connection to the server or published apps using the servers ip address.

CITRIX TERMINAL SERVER

Did you release and/or disconnect all Metaframe User sessions on your Terminal Server? If not, the sessions may still be Active from before your routing changeover, causing you problems. You may need to go in and disconnect them manually. Also, to allow Citrix to reset client information, on your workstations - use "regedit" as follows:
Start>Run>type in "regedit">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>
Software>Microsoft>MSLicensing>HardwareI Delete "ClientHWID" value. If there is a folder named "Store" belowthe "HardwareID" folder, delete it. These values will be reset the next time the workstation logs onto Citrix.
Additional help on this topic is on the Citrix KB:
