I accidentally typed a password at the command prompt thinking I was being asked for one by a program, when in reality, I was just at the regular command prompt. Now that password is in the history. I am using ksh for the shell. How do I get rid of this from the history? Also, if someone knows how to do it on the bash shell, that would be helpful too. Thanks.
