I have an FTP site running on NT4, IIS4 with MS Proxy2. The site is fine and allows anonymous access via the internet but I cant alow individual users to login and access their own individual directories.
I’ve created test users and created directories for them and given each test user read / write rights to their own dirs in NT Explorer. I’ve unchecked “allow only anonymous access” and given the test users the right to “log on locally”. When I try and access their directories with IE5 I getaccess denied. When I select “logon as” and enter the username and password the login fails. The same happens when I use the command line FTP.
I’ve been through Technet and tried all the suggestions but the same thing happens.
