My boss recently upgraded his laptop and wants to migrate his client authentitication certs to his new laptop. Is it possible to migrate a certificate between laptops without affect them? Or are they tied to that particular machine?
These certs were not issued by third parties, (like the Department of Finance, etc.) rather than the company itself. Additionally he wants to gaurentee the removal of the file due to the sensitivity of the data.
This is really not my field of expertise and would appreciate any help with this.
