Client for Microsoft Networks

By mcallister ·
Is it possible to logon to multiple domains using Client for microsoft Networks. Operating system is win9x. I have a user who is registered under two different domains. Right now she can only log on to one domain at a time using microsoft's client. Thanks for you help. Eric

Win9x caches the userid and password. The only way you can connect to 2 domains at the same time is if BOTH the user's ID and password are synchronized. What happens then is that the user validates off the first domain and runs it's login script, while connecting transparently to any drives on the second. Of course, when the user changes passwords, they need to do this on every domain.
The other way to do this, of course, would be to set up trust relationships among your domains....
