Client workstation flash/macrmedia

By wayne ·
I am using SBS 4.5 and have setup a client of windows 2000 professional. When I use my internet access I am unable to display any flash or macromedia web pages. I go to macromedia site to download these players and get to the page for install and itwill not download these players. Does Proxy block the download of such players on client machines? Is there a workaround for this problem as I have tried everything and can't find what is blocking this?

There does seem to be some issues with Flash and Win2K pro/Server.

The problem seems to stem from the particular video card/driver combo and Win2K. The only resolution I have come across is to make sure that your video card is on the HCL and thatyou have THE latest drivers installed.

Proxy is agnostic when it comes to OS's so if it works for any OS it should work for Win2K pro. I think the Proxy server line is a dead end.
