Topology: Novell 5.1 SP 8, Token Ring 60 users. Desktop and Laptops are on WIN95. Cleint32 v 3.30.
Problem: one to four users at times (this has happend twice in 8 weeks) will get the error “Please wait while trying to re connect to the server” when logging onto our network. This then hard locks the desktop and the user cannot work. One user affected both times this has happend, can log onto the server from other desktops and I can log onto the server from her’s. However, if she goes back to her desktop and tries to re-log on, the error comes back. I have had to run Vrepair and DSrepair on the server because I have found that Her ID linked to the MAC address of her PC is corrupt. What causes this corruption.
