I work in an environment that needs to have Windows 2000 server machines built week after week on the same machines with the same builds. They have to be completly different Domain controllers, and communicate with each other. We do not have the ability to make 30 different masters for each domain controller and image them from there every week. In NT 4 we used to be able to ghost down 1 image to every machine and run an ERD which contained the info for each particular machine. It seems that the ERD that 2000 issues does not have the proper info to do this. So we have to install each machine every week from scratch or run DCpromo which takes just as long. Does anyone know of a way to clone down one master and change the info to make several different domain controllers.
