Hi guys
a darn salesmen manged to sell 2 servers and a DAS to a customer, which wanna be able to see all the luns (and the data there) on both servers at the same time and access the data.
But as it is – when server 1 writes data to lun1 (server 2 is unable to see unless you reboot).
So my thought would maybe be clustering both servers for a active/active setup – anyone has any experince with this?
the storage device is a DELL MD3000+1000 and the servers is 2xDELL PowerEgde 2950
Since a reboot can do it manaully but this should be done by automation.
Ive also been looking at Symantec Storage Foundation to some of this…
So if anyone should have any input on this?
