O.K. here it goes…..I have just built a new desktop with a P4 2.93GHz, Machspeed motherboard, w/ a Nvida 6800 OC AGP card and like 1GHz mem. I start the computer and on post I get 1 beep. The screen says everything is fine but, AGP Slot: Support. Next I press DEL to go into BIOS and I can go a few clicks down to TRY and I mean TRY to change boot config and other things in BIOS but, it locks up and I can’t do anything. Now I have pulled the battery, changed the CMOS reset jumper and also, by recomidation of motherboard company, changed around and bought diff mem. Nothing is working.
I cannot load motherboard cd nor Win XP. I get it to boot and that is it. I am at a total loss and I can’t afford to put any mor $$$ into this thing. PLEASE HELP ME if you can.
