CMOS checksum bad and CMOS date/time not set

i received an error from last few months..On booting my system i received CMOS checksum bad and CMOS date/time not set..i have to always set my CMOS setting..what can i do to solve this problem?
Any one plz suggest me.

Replace the BIOS Battery

I would recommend you replace the BIOS battery on the motherboard there are easy to replace if you have the techincal known if not pop into a local computer repair shop there will do it not expensive job
