I was about to wipe a machine and reinstall windows xp but i was asked for the password in the bios settings when i wanted to alter the boot sequence. As the machine is inherited i didn’t know where the cmos clear jumper was so i removed the battery for a good while to clear the settings.
I then put the battery back in and tried to reboot he machine but nothing happens. It’s dead.
I am stuck for idea’s does anybody have a clue where i should look?
