    Cmos Setup

    I ahve this old 486 Osborne Computer , running Windows ’95 16 Mb ram Phoenix bios I am in the process of fitting a cd-rom into it and i need to get into the Cmos to enable the Primary and secondary HDD , can any one tell me what is the Key or Keys to entrer the Cmos in this system , i have tried everything i can think of ,includung treating it like a Compaq and unpluging the Mouse , but with out success, i ahve limited time to do this so i need know URGENTLY please

      Have you tried forcing a keyboard error. alternatativley i think the keyboard combination is CTRL + ALT + Enter.

      Here are a few common key combinations to enter CMOS setup
      F2,
      F10,
      Delete,
      Ctrl+Alt+S,
      Ctrl+Alt+Esc,
      Ctrl+Alt+Enter,
      Ctrl+Alt+Ins,

      For the Phoenix BIOS, press the Delete key. I think that is the right command for this particular BIOS.

      Pull the floppy drive power cable out and it gives a “F1 to cont, F2 to setup” message.

      For Phonix BIOS you need the
      Phoenix BIOS
      Ctrl-Alt-Esc or Ctrl-Alt-S

      i have an old computer with pheonix bios and i have to hit esc and then f2 to get into cmos.good luck!
