CMOS Setup changes

by jwnavarro . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I read the article from Ken Dwight on Basic BIOS settings, part 1. THere is a part that states that if you have an operating system different from WIN 95 or 98, the drive translation should be Large or Normal, not LBA. I have WIN PRO 2k and it was set on LBA. I changed it and when it re-boot, it crashed. It goes as far as the initial name of the board and CPU name and it crashes. The keyboard doesn’t work. I even changed the keyboard. I changed the HD and still nothing. It was set to second boot from the CD-ROM and that doesn’t work. The keyboard lights up at the initial stages and then crashes. What is a next suggestion?
