certifications

by Katherine Edelkoort In reply to cna vs msce

Do you mean Novell's CNA or Cisco's CCNA?

If you are talking Novell: CNA is their lowest certification, so an MCSE will be more valuable. The comparable Novell certification to MCSE is CNE.

Currently, I feel the market is flooded with both, and either of these certifications alone will not enhance your job prospects much. You really have to add industry experience to your resume along with these certifications now.

MCSE's in the Windows 2000 track will be more in demand in the next little while.

If you are talking about Cisco's CCNA certification, again, it is their lowest certification. You would be better to get a higher certification from them. Cisco certification, in my opinion, will do more for you in the current job market.
