I have an Exchange 5.5 sp3/NT4.0 sp6a PDC. I need to change the name of the mailserver so the real name of the server doesn’t show in the ourgoing mail headers (bad name). I was wondering if cname would work for this or if I am looking at reinstalling? MS kb suggest cname could introduce mail delivey problems – is that true?
