Maybe someone out there can clear something up for me.
I get the MSDN subscriptions, and for the past year and half now I have been seeing the code name “Whistler” beta os’s.
Frankly I have not had enough time to install it or view it. But I have always been under the impression that the whistler os was the now xp os.
I say this since I never saw a beta xp. Just the release candidate and the final release.
But today, I receieved some betas of code name whistler “Server and Advanced server”.
Not sure what to make of it.
My curiosity will now make me install this OS to see what the hell it is.
But maybe someone can shed some light before hand.
Is whistler, XP? or is it .Net or something just completely new?
