Our ‘bread & butter’ application is a DOS protect mode program that runs okay in Win95/98/NT. We are multinational and used codepage 850 for extended character sets. Microsoft in it’s vast wisdom uses it’s own codepage resulting in ASC(157) not showing a Norwegien letter but a Yen currency symbol. Anybody worked around this?
