I recieved a laptop to repair that had the power input shorted right out of it. I changed the MoBo and now the system boots in and the wireless picks it up, but the display is only one pixel colored lines. Kinda looks like one pixel from the task bar has been smeared straight up. vertically from where the start menu should be it is gray and over to the right from there to the task tray it displays black. You can work the system and I have tried to adjust the display settings to no avail. I have also reset the Bios to factory, (not that that should have anything to do with it).
Question is: Can the power supply being fried out of the first MoBo. have taken the display with it? If not then sugestions as to a solution? Thank you in advance
