Since installing Windows 2000 Professional every time I start a program the space Ball that I have hooked up to com 1 beeps. It used to beep only when booting (Windows 98 SE) the computer or starting the program that I use it in (SolidWorks). Now itbeeps when booting, starting almost every program, and sometimes just going from 1 web site to another. Is there a way to stop this.Is it scanning the ports for some kind of info ?
