Combo box problem

I have a combo box in my VB6.0 application. The style property is set to 0 so I should be able to type in text as well as select text. I can select text fromt the dropdown list but when I try to use the autocomplete feature by typing in the text box it doesn’t work. It doesn’t let my type anything at all. I have other combo boxes on my app and they work okay, the only difference with this one is that I have some code behind the click event. Is this what’s causing the text box problem? Can I have code behind the click or change events and still use the autocomplete text feature?
