Command prompt questions

By jeff3453 ·
Can anyone suggest a link to a resource that will describe how to do things like add users and set permissions from the command prompt?

Thanks

Start --> Run --> ntcmds.hlp

That is the whole list there. The above is just for basic NT commands.

Tools from Reskit can be used according to the usage and overview that come with the Resource Kit.

Try the Net.EXE utility for adding users. eg. NET USER username /ADD
For help try NET USER /HELP
The other option is using the NT ResKit utility ADDUSERS.EXE.

For permissions you can use CACLS.EXE

For NT,try net user /?,this will give you the syntax to add another user. Try attrib /?
to see the syntax to set permissions of a file.
Don't know of any links though ?
