Common Open File Dialog

by blackcurrant . Updated 19 years, 10 months ago

Hi folks

I am using Group Policy on a Windows 2003 Server (Standard Edition) to customise the common open file dialog (User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\Common Open Files Dialog)

I can customise it fine using UNC paths to shared folders, but I am seeing a strange thing. The 4th entry is always blank on the clients, and does not respond when it is clicked.

At the moment I am editing the default domain policy, but the same thing happens if I create an OU, and then create, edit and apply a new policy just to the OU (I placed a test machine and user account in the OU to test it). Even weirder is that I used a different UNC name to a shared folder for the OU.

Does anyone have any suggestions I might try please, to get the 4th entry working.

Many thanks

BC
