Hi i hope some one can help with this: I’ve just acquired a compaq evo d300 minitower that powers on but shows a constant red LED next to the power button. I’ve had a look at HP/Compaq’s tech support site and trouble shooting guides for this pc but can only find references to flashing LEDs that indicate power supply problems. I gather that in normal operation the LED would be green, and the guy i boughtit off is adamant it was ok before he sent it by courier. Obviously, it could have been thrown about by the courier and damaged but i was hoping to find a fix for it rather than going through insurance claims. I’m new to this site (and computing in general!) so any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks, Jim.
