The re-imaging process for a Compaq Presario C300 laptop is several hours long, and if you try to re-image using a copy of XP that was not supplied by HP/Compaq you get an error message stating that a hard drive could not be found. Is there a way to re-image this drive without having to use HP/Compaq’s re-imaging disc?
