Hi, I have a compaq presario r4000 series laptop that powers on but doesn’t boot. Apart from power, nothing and the only way to disable the power is to disconnect the battery. Have tried resetting the memory module and this doesn’t seem to be the problem. Is the motherboard fried or does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
