I have 7 Compaq Servers of various platforms running a website behind a Cisco local director.
The servers host static content as well as asp applications, using site server sp2 with NT service pack 5.
Occasionally one of the servers will die. When I attempt to reboot it, it displays the , “press f-10 for system partion utilities” and then hangs at a blinking cursor.
Tried accessing the partition using NTFS2DOS professional but it is unable to mount the partition.
The only thing I am able to do is rebuild the server.
What should I look at to determine what is crashing the servers?
